How does MudMaker work?

MudMaker is an online MUD editing site that allows people to create vast worlds, hideous creatures, and godly items with a little imagination and some free time. Just sign up, and start making your own MUD with our MUD creation tool. Once you have a game setup, simply sign up for a hosting account and start playing.

A MUD or Multi User Dungeon is an online text-based multiplayer role-playing game. If you have never played a MUD before, check out our MUD listings. The games are free to play.

The MUD servers are back online!

We have moved the MUD servers and they are now up and running. If you have any issues, please send us an email so we can look into it.

Sept 24

MudMaker has moved!

MudMaker switched servers today which lead to some downtime. The move is now complete and the website should be working properly. The MUD server is offline until we can move that over as well. It should be done in 1-2 weeks. If you notice anything strange or find any bugs, please send us an email at info@mudmaker.com and we'll fix it right up.

MudMaker has increased our free trial system to 500 rooms which can now be accessed on a daily basis!

We have upped the free trial system to 500 rooms and it can now be launched every 22 hours. There is still a 2 hour maximum time limit, and only 10 servers may be running at once, but if the demand calls for it, we may increase it even more!
